Another consolidated brew

31-10-2010 Last day of expo Shanghai.

I prepared Jeff a ticket before hand in return of his giving me a 7 days pass. He was quite happy. I looked at him well put the ticket into his wallet.

We set up the following decision-making norm for the visit:
-          Over self-centeredness is not allowed /welcomed.
-          If the proposal from any of us is rejected by the other one, it wouldn’t be passed.  
As such, we chose the pavilions to visit based on absolute consensus.

Interestingly, influencing attempts never stopped on the way. In the late afternoon, he suddenly realized something and accused that, for any pavilion I didn’t visit, I would make efforts on a lot of marketing, blah blah blah. For those I visited but he didn’t, I would give him a very boring description and tried to persuade him to forget the ones. I burst into laughter with his big finding, and he looked bit innocent. I claimed I did all those from sub- consciousness and I was willing to make compromise for harmonization. But new plan should be justified. Later, he strongly rejected my proposal to see Argentina Tango show. Years ago, I would insist my idea and go by myself…it’s strange I chose to accept his objection calmly and thought it was not big deal if have to miss the show that day…

Actually we had a great day. In the early afternoon we went to MeteoWorld Pavilion and learned some new related knowledge. After that, we spent 2 hours in pacific joint pavilion, where we naturally switched to a quite laid-back style and enjoyed taking a lot of pictures. We further went to area C and visited some European pavilions. Our last stop was pavilion of China provinces. The atmosphere there was very high. Time for new departure…people worked there were busy hugging each other and taking group pictures.

(I didn’t get time to visit Jordan pavilion. I should have visited Mauritania pavilion but I don’t remember. The other 32 ones are quite impressive. )

我对卡塔尔馆这座暖黄色的建筑有一种莫名的迷恋。偶尔纯蓝的天空下，变幻的白云似乎赋予了这座朴素静止的建筑物以生命。
